Introduction
Optical Fiber Cable Tensile Tester (Indoor Cable) are designed specifically for indoor (Bow Type) optical fiber cables to test tensile strength under tension. The tester compliments with an extensometer to measure the cable. Test cable sample is wound over the approximate sized sheave, pulled at a specific rate until a pre-determined tension is applied. The test cable is further laid to rest under tension as per detail specifications, and then the attenuation and fiber length are measured.
Features
This equipment adopts computer control, servo motor drive, precision ball screw drive load, and precision load sensor signal measurement. It has the characteristics of stable loading, accurate measurement, rapid control response, various control methods, convenient and accurate digital calibration of load and elongation, and full load protection and position protection.
